Podcast Guest & Event Speaker

Amy Po-Ching

Amy is a sought after voice across podcasts, panels, TV and business workshops, regularly called on as an industry expert for interviews and commentary.

A familiar voice and fan favourite on Keep the Change, she brings sharp insights, real stories, and an energy audiences genuinely connect with. She does not just answer questions, she creates moments people remember and conversations that stick.

If you are looking for a guest who adds credibility and keeps listeners hooked, Amy should be at the top of your list.

“Amy brings a level of expertise and genuine care that's rare in the financial industry. She doesn't just talk about helping Kiwis - she actually does it, one family at a time. She's already changed the outlook for many KTC listeners and I highly recommend - definitely worth a chat!”

Amy’s journey into financial planning is deeply personal, shaped by growing up between two very different money cultures, her Pākehā side and her island side. One taught saving and long term security, the other generosity and living in the moment. Combined with experiencing both the highs of wealth and the stress of financial hardship, it gave her a powerful, real world understanding of money and its impact on people’s lives.

At just 22, with $500 in the bank, Amy started her first business. She grew it into a multi million dollar financial advice firm, eventually selling it for a seven figure sum to one of Australasia’s largest financial planning groups.

Her journey hasn’t been linear. Amy has navigated major life challenges, including a chronic illness that left her bedbound for nearly two years. She later stepped back from the industry, semi retired, and became a mum to twins, before ultimately returning to the work she feels most called to do.

Today, Amy is back doing what she does best, helping everyday New Zealanders create financial security and stability, build wealth, and achieve true financial freedom. Her passion comes from lived experience, and a deep belief that financial planning isn’t about spreadsheets, it’s about creating choice, confidence, and a life you actually want to live.

Financial Wellbeing For Your Team

Amy’s voice extends beyond the podcast into business wellbeing workshops where financial security is front and centre. She speaks to teams and individuals navigating the real pressures of income stability, rising costs, and financial uncertainty in today’s environment.

Her sessions focus on building a stronger, more confident relationship with money, while also helping people stay on the right path toward where they want to be by retirement and in achieving their long term goals. She shares practical ways to feel more in control, make clearer financial decisions, and cut through the noise to gain clarity in a world full of information overload.
